With the end of the 2016/2017 season of the WSOP Circuit coming closer, it is time for the last two events of the series. The Horseshoe Baltimore is to host the first one of these two events, and the WSOP Circuit is to get back to Maryland.
The upcoming event of the WSOP Circuit schedule is to kick off on April 27th to May 8th at Horseshoe Baltimore. The latter is currently considered as one of the newest and most modern casino venues that have ever hosted the series. The property, estimated to $442 million was build a few years ago, in 2014, under the provisions of the more favourable gambling legislation in Maryland.
Various gaming options are provided by the gaming and entertainment venue, with a special WSOP-branded poker room situated on gaming space of 122,000 square feet, as well as a number of lounges and bars and a qualitative dining area, featuring several restaurants.
Of course, this is not the first time when the WSOP Circuit has set foot at the Horseshoe Baltimore. Only half a year after the grand opening of the casino and entertainment venue, the WSOP Circuit series made its debut there. The first WSOP Circuit which took place at the Horseshoe Baltimore had its $1,675 buy-in Main Event won by Chris Csik. The latter managed to outlast a field of 670 entries and took home a cash prize of over $200,000. After the inaugural event of the series in 2014, there was two main editions of the WSOP Circuit in 2015 and 2016, which Main Events were won by Ting Xiao and Joseph Cappello, respectively.
The series officially released its schedule for the Horseshoe Baltimore event, which starts with the $365 Monster Stack single re-entry event on April 27th. Then, on April 28th, players would be given the opportunity to join the No-Limit Hold-em event, which offers 30-minute levels, unlimited re-entry option and a buy-in amounting to $365. The same buy-in would be featured by the Pot-Limit Omaha on April 29th, which also offers an unlimited re-entry option.
April 30th and May 1st will see the 4A, 4B, 4C and 4D $365 No-Limit Hold’em, also offering an unlimited re-entry option. Other three No-Limit Hold’em events will be featured on May 2nd, May 4th. The first one on May 4th feature a larger buy-in of $580, while the second one offers 30-minute levels.
Undoubtedly, the Main Event of the WSOP Circuit at Horseshoe Baltimore is the most-expected event in the series’ schedule. Days 9A and 9B will start on May 5th and 6th, with the Main Event offering a buy-in estimated to $1,675, as well as a single re-entry per day.
The last three events of the WSOP Circuit schedule are No-Limit Hold’em Turbo Events, with the third one being a Turbo Double Stack event. All of them would offer a buy-in amounting to $365 and unlimited re-entry option to players who decide to take part in them. Of course, there will be a $135 Ladies Event and a $250 Seniors Event, both of which being one-day events with unlimited re-entry.
